Hello everyone,
Here are some new additions to the School of Mary website.
First, we have changed the section “Articles” to “Resources”, as shown here:
Second, we have added a new section: “Christ in Spiritual Life”, as shown below.
There are also several new books, so don’t forget to check them out here: School of Mary – Books. The books at the top are the most recent ones.
We have also added two new translations of books by Fr Louis Guillet OCD who is my master. You can find more information about him here. I particularly recommend the book “See How Much Love God Has Given Us” (you can find both on Amazon). Its fourth part presents a completely new understanding of the spiritual journey in the history of the Church. My PhD is devoted to this new dimension and to its relevance for spiritual theology.
There are also three new books on Lectio Divina:
– “Hearing the Living Word, The Gospel’s Grammar of Lectio Divina.” This offers a simple approach to Lectio Divina based on the Gospels. People seem to appreciate its simplicity and accessibility.
– “Encountering the Word, Scriptural and Theological Foundations of Lectio Divina.” This book seeks to deepen our awareness that, in Lectio Divina, we encounter the Living Word of God: the Risen Lord, present among us.
– “Reading Scripture in the Spirit: A Biblical Spiritual Theology.” This is a substantial contribution towards a new theological approach to Scripture, rooted in Biblical Spiritual Theology.
And don’t forget the book “The Statutes of the School of Mary”, which presents the foundations, mission and organisation of the School of Mary.
