St Luke’s Gospel is the Gospel of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. It offers a profound, precise, and refreshing understanding of how to “become servants of the Word of God” (Lk 1:2), showing us that the only way to do so is through Mary’s Heart.
This Course follows the main structure of St Luke’s Gospel, exploring selected passages to reveal the depth and beauty it contains. The insights gained can be applied immediately in our spiritual life, allowing us to experience new fruits of faith.
Many believe that the Bible speaks very little about Mary. This Course on the Gospel of St Luke proves otherwise. It also serves as an excellent preparation for Advent, drawing us closer to Mary and the Scriptures.
Structure of the Two Days
1st Day: Introduction to St Luke. The initial diptych, i.e., the two Annunciations. Explanation of St Luke’s Golden Thread. Mary’s Heart in Chapter 2. The Parable of the Sower. Other selected passages.
2nd Day: The main ‘Annunciation’—the Death and Resurrection of the Lord. Its fulfilment in the Passion and Death. Chapter 24 (Resurrection) and the description of Mary’s Heart.
